BLS/ACLS COMBO

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Class from American Heart Association!

 

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the AHA’s Guidelines Update for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

 

ACLS:

  • For healthcare professionals (HCPs) who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response.

What does this course teach?

  • Basic life support (BLS) skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED.

  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest.

  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia.

  • Airway management.

  • Related pharmacology.

  • Management of ACS and stroke.

  • Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team.

This course is 6 hours. We offer breaks and take 1 hour for lunch.

We offer quicker sessions, contact us for a one-on-one option.

Hours are 9AM to 3PM. Cost $135.00 pp 

 

Here are your MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS to attend:

  • BRING a 2020 ACLS Provider Manual, E-book, or borrow a textbook.

  • Please allow enough time to have your textbook mailed to you or order the E-book.

 

  • Complete the FREE Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work.

 

  • Self-Assessment pretest you must get an 85% or higher, not a 70%.

  • Check each box for approval to move forward then select your class

  • Bring current copies of your ACLS/BLS old cards.

 

  • You will NOT be admitted into the session without these copies.

 

  • If this is your initial class, you will have 3 copies to bring. Your current BLS card copy, Precourse Self-Assessment and the Precourse Work.

 

  • We will be keeping all copies brought to class.

 

  • Make enough time to study.

 

  • At your session you must pass both written test (50 questions) and MEGA CODE with an 84% before you will be issued an AHA ACLS/BLS Provider card/s.

 

 

BLS Portion:

 

Is your BLS card up to date? Great! Print a copy and bring it to your session.

Is it expired or will be by your class date, FOLLOW the directions below.

  • AHA charges $34.00 for this online portion.

  • Please print and BRING a COPY of the completed passed test to your session.

  • In class, throughout the session, I will skills check you and issue a BLS card.

  • I CANNOT ISSUE A CARD IF THE ONLINE PART HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED! NO UPDATED BLS, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE AN ACLS CARD.

  • If you are out of compliance on or before our class session you MUST do this part. You will not be issued an ACLS card unless the BLS is up to date.
